The Ceylon Society brings together people who share common interests relating to the history and heritage of the island of Ceylon, now called Sri Lanka

Our interests include: 

• Learning about our past, back to the pre-history of Ceylon
• Collecting items, such as books, maps, stamps and coins
• Undertaking genealogical and historical research
• Writing and publishing books and articles on our history and heritage
• Maintaining links with similar historical organisations worldwide
