Ceylon Society Journal - The CeylankanOur journal, The Ceylankan, is the flagship of the Ceylon Society. It is quite unique and unsurpassed in quality among periodicals of its genre. This success is due to the efforts of the many talented writers who have contributed excellent and carefully researched articles. Some of these people were first time writers who have since produced many more works. The Ceylankan - ContentThe Ceylankan is published quarterly and carries short articles relating to the history and heritage of the island. The articles are meant to inform and entertain. They are written in an easy-to-read format. Other sections of The Ceylankan are devoted to book reviews, genealogy, requests for help, trading of collectibles and general snippets of interesting information. Writers - We need you!One of the goals of the Society is to help people research, write and publish information relating to the history and heritage of Ceylon. It is particularly fulfilling that The Ceylankan has achieved this outcome admirably. We are always interested in receiving new articles for our Journal, even from non-members.
